Magic Room Logo Design
Sensory Guru is a leading company specializing in designing and installing sensory environments, intuitive software, and inclusive learning tools that are both cutting-edge and inspiring. They partner with renowned brands such as Tobii Dynavox, providing their products and software to the NHS, schools, and care facilities.
Magic Room an immersive sensory system designed to transform spaces dedicated to learning, therapy, and play. By integrating advanced technology with specialized software, the Magic Room offers inclusive, dynamic, customizable activities that promote multi-sensory interaction, communication, and skill development.
Brief
Create a logo for Magic Room that is simple, visually distinctive, and clearly represents the product. The design should follow the approach of Magic Eye FX (incorporating an eye) and Magic Mirror (featuring a mirror shape) and both incorporating the ‘M’ , ensuring the logo immediately conveys its function. Consider using visual elements that symbolize a "room" or an immersive space while maintaining a clean and recognizable design.
The process
Following the approach used in other Magic software logos, I explored different ways to visually represent a room. I initially experimented with traditional cube-shaped designs but quickly refined the concept to better reflect the system’s functionality. I adjusted the thickness of the lines defining the floor and walls to achieve the right balance of clarity and simplicity.
The design process involved multiple iterations, incorporating feedback from the client to ensure the logo aligned with the brand vision. Based on their input, I made refinements to enhance readability and impact. After several adjustments, I finalised the design in Adobe Illustrator, creating a clean and distinctive logo that effectively represents Magic Room.
This project marks a significant milestone for me, as it is the first time one of my designs has been produced and featured on a real-world product. Seeing my work come to life in a tangible way has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud to have contributed to this project.
